AI Work Audit (“we,” “our,” or “us”) helps you decide whether a work task is worth automating. This policy explains what data we collect when you use aiworkaudit.net, how we use it, and what control you have over it.

What We Collect

Information you give us

• Your name, email address, website, and comment text if you leave a comment.

Comments and Gravatar

When you comment, we collect your IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam. We may send an anonymized hash of your email address to Gravatar to check whether you have a profile picture.

Once we approve your comment, your picture appears publicly beside it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is at https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Cookies

If you comment, you can choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These last one year.

Our login page sets a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. It holds no personal data and expires when you close your browser.

When you log in, we set cookies to save your login details and screen display choices. Login cookies last two days, and screen option cookies last one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login lasts two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, your browser saves one more cookie containing only the post ID. It expires after one day.

You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. Some features may stop working if you do.

Embedded Content

Articles may include videos, images, or posts from other websites. That content behaves as if you had visited the other site directly.

Those sites may collect data about you, set cookies, load their own tracking, and monitor how you interact with the embed, especially if you’re logged in to an account there.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share it only with partners who help us run the site:

We keep comments and their metadata indefinitely. This lets us recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.

For registered users, we keep profile information until you delete it. You can view, edit, or delete it at any time, except your username. Site administrators can also view and edit it.

We keep other personal information only as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Uploaded Images

If you upload images, remove embedded location data (EXIF GPS) first. Anyone who visits the site can download your images and extract that data.

Our site links to other websites. We don’t control their privacy practices, so review their policies before sharing personal information.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We post the updated version on this page with a revised date.
